Week 10: Smarter Migration, Security Fixes, and UI Polishing

Last week, our team focused heavily on improving the migration module and strengthening the reliability of the system as a whole. A large part of the work was dedicated to making Snipe-IT integration more dynamic and robust, while also fixing important bugs related to authentication and improving the user interface.

Week 9: Migration Progress, Environment Cleanup, and Repository Refinement

Last week, our team focused on improving the reliability and maintainability of the project. The main areas of work were the migration process, application configuration, documentation, and repository cleanup. Compared to previous weeks, this was a week of consolidation: making the system cleaner, more stable, and easier to understand for both developers and future deployment.

Week 8: Migration Validation, Translations, and Mobile App Progress

Last week, our team continued working on both the core system infrastructure and the user-facing experience. The main focus of the week was validating part of the migration process, expanding language support, and starting more active work on the mobile applications while also improving the web app.

Week 7: UI Improvements, Better Request Flow, and Clearer Setup

While previous weeks were centered on integration and deployment, this week was more focused on making the system easier to use, easier to navigate, and easier to work on locally and in production.

Week 1: Kicking Off the DETI Maker Lab Project

Welcome to the first update on the DETI Maker Lab project! This week was all about laying the groundwork and understanding the core of what we need to build. We kicked things off with a crucial meeting with our supervisor, prof. Diogo Gomes, and the lab technician. This was a great opportunity to get to know our main stakeholders: the students who will use the lab and the technician who manages it.
